Marilyn A Learning Diagnostic Tool
Change Topic (Domain)ResourcesDocumentationHelp

Welcome

Marilyn is an existing general purpose decision support system for diagnostic applications created in the framework of a class project in 2007. Its implementation can be found at the following location: http://barcelona.exp.sis.pitt.edu/. It is a fairly powerful, dedicated Windows server.

Marilyn creates and maintains Bayesian network models based on non-invasive interaction with diagnosticians and infers knowledge from their descriptions of problems. This addresses the biggest bottleneck in decision-analytic decision support -- the pain involved in model building. It is based on C#, ASP.NET, and MSSQL.'
